MACD Momentum Gate

Waits for the MACD histogram to cross zero with enough force, confirmed by a trend EMA.

Contract
Rise/Fall
Default market
Volatility 50 (1s) Index
Pace
Longer scans. It acts only on the tick a crossover happens, so most ticks pass without a trade. Lower the histogram threshold to catch more of them.

How it works

  1. Each tick it rebuilds the MACD histogram and keeps the last two readings.
  2. A crossover is a histogram that has just changed sign, so the previous reading and the current one sit on opposite sides of zero.
  3. The crossover is ignored unless the new histogram value clears the magnitude threshold.
  4. A trend EMA has the final say: it buys Rise only with price above the EMA, and Fall only below it.
  5. It waits until there are enough ticks for all three periods before it reads any of them.
  • MACD histogram
  • Zero-line crossover
  • Magnitude threshold
  • Trend EMA agreement
  • Loss cooldown

Staking

It ships with a 2.1x martingale, sized to win back a losing run of up to 3 trades inside its stop loss, with a max stake of 5. Untick Use martingale on its card to stake the same amount on every trade.

Signal EMA periodSmoothing applied to the MACD line to produce the histogram.92–100
Histogram thresholdThe crossover is skipped unless the histogram is at least this far from zero.0.020–10
Trend EMA periodThe average that has to agree with the crossover direction.505–200
Cooldown after a loss (ticks)The bot sits out this many ticks after a losing trade before it looks for a new entry.30–50
