Engulfing Reversal

Waits for one candle to close right through the one before it, and trades the turn.

Contract
Rise/Fall
Default market
Volatility 50 Index
Pace
Longer scans. It reads completed one-minute candles, so it can only reach a decision once a minute, and most minutes do not produce the pattern. Lower the body ratio to accept weaker engulfing candles and trade more often.

How it works

  1. On every tick it reads the open and close of the two most recently completed candles.
  2. A candle counts as engulfing when its body covers the whole body of the one before it and closes the opposite way.
  3. The body has to beat the one it covers by the body ratio, which filters out indecisive candles.
  4. A bullish engulfing buys Rise, a bearish one buys Fall.
  5. After a loss it sits out the cooldown before it will look at the pattern again.

Staking

It ships with a 2.1x martingale, sized to win back a losing run of up to 3 trades inside its stop loss, with a max stake of 5. Untick Use martingale on its card to stake the same amount on every trade.
